Rehab: Your Personal Prescription

Travis: "You must have stability before you can get mobility”
For my work with Aston Villa and England player Tyrone Mings, once we got him activated and off the treatment table the goal was to improve his strength output and stability, laying the foundation for greater controlled mobility and dynamic movement and changes in direction. Tyrone was recovering from an ACL rupture and, as a professional footballer without the correct approach to rehab could have been faced with long-term issues.
Muscle Activation
Applied Kinesiology- the 360 way.
Are you suffering from chronic pain, noticing reduced function, postural injury or muscular strain? Are you feeling more vulnerable, experiencing stiffness, reduced mobility and a lack of strength?
Allow me to assess your body to get to the root cause of your dysfunction by using my form of kinesiology to identify and treat muscle weakness, joint stiffness and pain.
The treatments can include, range of motion assessments, muscle testing, precise palpation and custom-fit rehab exercises; resulting in improved muscle function and strength, increased stability and range of motion, better body awareness, function and confidence.

Travis: Throwback to rehabbing the lovely Jodie Kidd from a very serious knee injury.
What does your rehab look like?
Rehab is a very personal thing but that doesn't mean it's not changeable if you feel you've tried it with someone else and it didn't quite work out for you. Rehabilitation is as much about perspective as it is work.
Jodie came to me after a few knocks and bumps set her back with her progression in many activities. A keen polo player, and one-time racing driver for Italian super-car manufacturers Maserati her knee had already taken considerable load and stress prior to requiring this surgery.
Our rehab journey was approximately 4 months and in that time we focused on strengthening and reconditioning Jodie’s knee making it as strong and stable as possible so that she could face up to the demands of the extreme challenges she likes to take on. Jodie having extremely long legs needed a very custom-fit rehab program with lot’s of nuances and manipulations in resistance to deliver the results we needed.
After working together we even teamed up and created an amazing holistic health retreat in Barbados. Creating an opportunity for our clients to reset their health and kickstart a new way of being.

Photo Rehab Journey- Olympic Bronze Medalist, Anthony Ogogo
The hard work happens long before the ring walk, the full arena, TV and the bright lights. No stone left unturned, gruelling hard work with precision for the ultimate performance.

Video: 10 days out from Anthony's first fight back after his shoulder dislocation. Sharpening the axe in the absence of his boxing coach. Timing and rhythm and an explosive right hand. Feeling good.
